Sculpture in the Classroom

Sculpture in the Classroom, a free program for K-12 schools, includes the following compontnts:
- A slide presentation at your school introducingĀ students to the sculpturesĀ in the Park and to the general study of sculpture
- A docent-led tour of the Park for students
- Post-tour projects suggested by or supervised by our docents for students to work on back in the classroom
Projects and point of view can be customized to fit into your grade’s curriculum. Program focus can be geared to language arts, science, social studies, math and fine arts.
The program is free of charge to public schools, including all materials. Private institutions may participate for a small donation.
Interested teachers may call the Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park at 847-679-4265 to get more information and to make reservations. Plan early because the calendar fills up quickly, especially in the spring months.
