Well, well, well. Our landlords ‘ construction project has a bit more impact on us than they’d projected. The work of the Water Reclamation District (our ultimate landlord) on section IV is a bit more than they’d suggested.
They have pretty much reduced the usability of the parking lot between Howard and Touhy, and put a whole bunch of dirt piles and orange construction fencing everywhere. While one can technically still traverse that section, its not really easy to enjoy the experience. For that reason, our team of wonderful Docents has proposed changing the June 24 tour to Section I. that is the part between Dempster and Main. So please excuse the CAPS shouting:
THE PLANNED TOUR OF THE PARK FOR JUNE 24 HAS BEEN RELOCATED TO THE DEMPSTE-MAIN STREETS SECTION. PLEASE PARK IN THE LOT MIDWAY BETWEEN THOSE STREETS.
